Robyn's Profile
Robyn earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Education, with an emphasis on Health and Human Sciences from Colorado State University in 1983. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in dance from the University of Colorado. Robyn danced professionally in Los Angeles from 1984 to 1986 until a severe back injury ended her dance career. In search for pain relief, she discovered personal fitness training and became one of the first female trainers in the Los Angeles area in 1986. She began her Personal Trainer career focused on post-physical rehabilitation, earning a Gold certification with American Council on Exercise in 1990, being recognized as an IDEA Elite personal trainer. She became a Pilates instructor in 1996 and opened a studio in 1997. In 2009, Robyn became a Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist, finding one of the most effective rehabilitation tools she's encountered. In 2024 Robyn became a Buff Bones Instructor, adding to her experience and focus on bone health and bone strength. Additionally, Robyn has teaching experience in Tai Chi and Meditation.
